Our diverse focus across a variety of industry sectors provides us with a unique cross-sectional exposure to a variety of treatment technologies. We maintain a comprehensive database of available technologies and are fully knowledgeable regarding Lowest Achievable Emission Rate (LAER), Maximum Achievable Control Technology (MACT), Reasonably Available Control Technology (RACT), and Best Available Control Technology (BACT) analysis as well as experience across a range of projects to meet the EU Best Available Techniques (BAT) approach. MSE can design or specify and procure contracts for appropriate treatment technologies to achieve regulatory required treatment. For minor and synthetic minor source routine simple controls are often an option and include increasing stack height (up to GEP) or modifying operational parameters such as hours of operation or product throughput. In addition MSE has conducted significant source monitoring over a wide range of project types and sources, developed abatement specifications, procured and operated pilot plants, and assisted clients as process engineer on design.
